Flash Catalyst Ideas
Tags: In the library & layers panel, make a right-click option that allows a user to see a list of all the states an item is visible in. |

Tags: This may be a feature of the full version (don't know), but the demo version on MAC only lets you adjust 20 seconds worth on the timeline. PC demo allows for a view of 40 seconds. There currently seems to be no way to view anything on the timeline past those points.
So, a horizontal slider for the timeline would be nice, like you have in Premiere.
Also a playhead would be nice as you're playing through, to see the red line go through the timeline showing what second it's at. (again, like Premiere, flash, etc) |

Tags: When you import audio, the timeline representation of that audio should expand it according to the duration length instead of the 1sec that it gives you now. OR at least show a waveform type representation so as you drag it out, you can tell when it ends.
Right now I have to 'catalog' the length of my audio files and type those durations in. Kind of a bummer. |

The world is going touch and gesture as the next level of interaction, yet all I see as an interaction in FC is "on click". Time to get with the program! Push out those touch, tap, and gesture features! on Touch Begin on Touch End on Touch Move on Touch Out on Touch Over on Touch Rollover on Touch Rollout on Touch Tap on Gesture Zoom on Gesture Swipe on Gesture Pan on Gesture Rotate |

Tags: wireframe I would like to use Adobe Flash Catalyst as a Complete Wireframing solution. It would be great of Flash Catalyst would allow for the following features:
-Easily add wireframe components (such as combo boxes, menu strips, toolbar strips, etc.) to the artboard and allow easy customization and resizing (right now it's very difficult to resize and customize the new Wireframe components in "Panini" - I should be able to drag a combobox on the screen and edit the text in the dropdown and then easily resize the combobox to fit the text in just a few clicks - this is possible now, but requires way too many steps) For a reference, look at the way hotgloo http://www.hotgloo.com does it (the tab component is very difficult to customize - adding text that's too long for the tabs requires resizing the component in multiple parts)
-Add more components, it's much better with the release of "Panini", but there are still a few components missing - (ie, menu strips, toolbar strips, data grid, tr More... |
