It's really nice to have the ability to name an ID to your components & objects so you can identify them when you work inside Flash Builder.

Hi,

I need to load in as3 an external project done in Flash Catalyst using the Loader class. However, the name property of the MovieClip and or component are generated from the base name of the component plus a number (eg. TextInput8), is it instead possible to use the name of the layer in Flash Catalyst. So that way I'll be able to get the child I want using the getChildByName() method instead of losing time trying to decode the exported swf project.
