Why isn't there a data grid that can capture any type of element (text, video, pictures, etc.) included?

It's also time to start including the live and streaming video and recorded audio components, features, and video in these products.

More needs to be added in regards to components.

Finally, I would like to see and learn from my fellow developer.  Maybe a repository of screencasting accessible from a single page.

We need to be able to construct our own extensible and reusable components with ease.  That is not possible now.  I should be able to add and define my own property elements , click states, and interactions either by right clicking and selecting without limit (and/or a little bit of coding).  The current Custom Component is not that usable.

The code view offers little use.  Do we have to depend on moving back and forth to Flash Builder all the time?

I should be able to add links and mailto withinside of text instead of creating a button which is more work on my part.  Besides, creating buttons instead of hyperlinks can get messy to create.

Catalyst should be integrated with Flash IDE. Actually Flash should be able to do what catalyst does now. 

I would like to see a default wireframe component that allows you to simply go to next page, previous page, first page or last page.

Furthermore, making it possible to add this functionality to custom components would be popular.

This would make the creation of slideshow style navigation a breeze.

Would it be possible to, when running the project, be able to right-click on a component? Perhaps you could specify what your options on the right-click would be and assign individual interactions to them, like a Data List? For example, If I've created some sort of pane, I'd like the ability to right-click on it and select hide or show). I'm not sure how you would distinguish between the component's right-click and the browser's/Flash's right-click... Just a thought

I'd like the ability to maintain interactions when copying Custom Components. For example, if I copy and paste a Custom Component, or if I export it to a components library and then import it, it loses all of its defined interactions. This requires me to re-assign them one-by-one which can be incredibly tedious.

It would be cool if, like in Flash, you could double-click on a component icon in the Library to open it up for editing and not have to go to that object in its respective state for editing.

Support for defining 9-Slices or some kind of resizable, percentage-based components is ESSENTIAL if this is to be used for any real application. An app where everything is fixed size is unmaintainable and quite ridiculous. I can't even make tabbed navigation with catalyst because it can't handle resizing the tabs based on the inner text.

Sure I can fix these issues post-catalyst in Flash Builder, and I can prevent my code being stomped on by keeping everything in external files but it's a drama to worry about the child order or reworking the id's on code after exporting it from Catalyst -> Flash Builder.
