I think I know what you mean. Right now I feel like I need to choose between making an object that is flexible, but a total bi*** to make changes after the wheels are in motion, or an object that can be changed, but total rigid in transitions...
in a nutshell it means I have to plan everything out to the t in advance, in order to avoid redoing the same thing over and over again if I change my mind. PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE!
This can be done, but it has to be outside of the program as far as I can tell...
This caused me a ton of stress, lol. I assume this isn't hard to achieve in flash builder/flex, but a designer like me is way more picky about that than any developer would be, and I'd rather not have to take so much time figuring out something so trivial. :-/ absolutely! And renaming them, for sure... it's almost impossible to not make a mistake when you have to keep track of 30 states numbers and how they correspond and especially if they're not in order! I would like to be able to title them like Home, "category1" "cat1_popup" "cat1_popup_enlarged" "cat1_subsec1"
sorry to be redundant but it's really tedious right now. In flash in the panel options you can click "select unused library items.". That's the feature I was suggesting. It's not that you can't remove them, it can just get confusing, especially after lots of revisions.
