I often print 22x28 inch color signs on 8.5x11 inch paper, and in order to not lose any data from the bleed, I use the page tiling feature in the Print dialogue box. However, Acrobat doesn't allow me to save that tiling as a property of the file, so that it is still there when the file is opened at the printer. I tried saving the features as a PDF, but what it tells me is that "Save PDF" is not an option when printing, but rather that I must go to the "Save" option on the menu file, which doesn't include a tiling feature. Neither does the "Document Properties" dialogue box, nor in the "Print Production" menu. Â So anyway, when I edit the file at my office, and then take the finished PDF over to the print shop, they have to go in there and choose the page tiling option themselves, which costs me extra money (especially if someone else who isn't as tech savvy goes to print the signs, and doesn't know how to direct the printer guy to do that). Tags: acrobat.com labs page presentations size Such as demonstrated in MS PowerPoint 2007, you can change the page/slide size between not just standard measurements, but into 4:3, 16:9, and 16:10 aspect ratio formats. This would be a great thing, because sometimes if making presentations, you can avoid the black side and top bars. This, in my opinion, would be a more professional look. |

In Buzzword... Â Be able to have an option to automatically number all your pages in an order where you want it to begin or (standard) begin with page 1 and number the document WITHOUT moving any sentences. |

It would be great to have all the options for viewing a pdf that are available by visiting Acrobat.com in an embedded version. For example, it would really be awesome to have the page flip effect in all viewing modes, and to be able to switch from 1-up or 2-up page views would be awesome in an embedded PDF. Please add this as soon as possible! |

Acrobat.com: UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Â Acrobat.com: Give me a preview of what is being BUILT! CURRENTLY: There is a huge gap between the Acrobat.com IDEAS Page and what is currently on Acrobat.com... So what is actually being built?? SUGGEST: Get the Marketing Team to put up the greatest "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" page ever!!!!! :D It could display some great teasers, a glimpse of the great new projects being worked on or considered! :) -have BETA programs start there for people to demo, give feedback on... and tease :D Â -list updates on upcoming Acrobat.com software! -list bug fixes? -list new ways people are using Acrobat.com programs in various ways. This could be great! Like the whole "I'm a PC", "I'm a Mac" argument and why they are the best choice... but in the Acrobat.com use sense :) (I'm an Acrobat!) Â If this was something that was updated regularly with even the smallest update of cool new stuff "in-the-works" I would always visit! More... |
