It would be great if Adobe created an official iPod/iPhone app that allows users to access their Acrobat.com accounts on their Apple devices (and not be forced to utilize a third-party company like Scanr). Apple has already done this for "Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Mobile"; however, it would be even better if Adobe created an app that allows users to view the files that they have uploaded to Acrobat.com. Moreover, just like "Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Mobile" is free, this proposed app for Acrobat.com should be free as well. |

So far, there are only a select few of word processing applications on the Iphone. Those select few charge a lot to do so. If Adobe could create an application that would allow iphone/ipod users to edit their documents, it would draw a lot of people to the service and acrobat.com. Adobe could also make it ad supported to create revenue and to keep the cost free.  The application could either be accessible from the apple app store, or through the iphone/ipod web browser. A lot of people want to be able to edit their documents on the iphone/ipod touch, and this would be an easy way to do that. People will sign up for any service that lets them edit their documents for free on the iphone/ipod touch. |

It would be fantastic to have an application that allowed you to use to ConnectNow on the iPhone or iPod Touch. Obviously there will be no screen sharing on the iPhone/iPod end, however, features such as the whiteboard, chat, file transfer and microphone communication could be integrated. Â Also, seeing that the amazing service that Adobe provides with acrobat.com is free, this iPhone/iPod application could be free as well :D |

Tags: blackberry buzzword doc files iphone mobile my pdf smartphone We've a long way to go before we have "true mobile" access (for iPhones, Blackberrys, etc). In the meantime, could we setup a server that acts as an interface between internet-enabled mobile devices and our documents stored on Adobe servers?
For example, mobile.acrobat.com could ask for an Arobat username and password and then provide access to download documents as PDFs (for minimum load otherwise DOCs would also be nice). This would work because most smartphones handle PDFs quite happily. I imagine it could be implemented faster than full-fledged read/write access and give us access to our valuable data on the move :) |

Possibly too early to request this but I believe Adobe is working on a version of Flash for the iPhone. Once that's accomplished, could we get an App for the Ipod Touch / iPhone? It would be the first of its kind and open Acrobat up to a whole new market! Â Sources: http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/19/adobe-says-flash-is-coming-to-the-iphone/ Â and most importantly, |
