First of all, amazing program! I want to use this site more, but you seem to be missing a function we need. My firm is currently using a competitor of yours because of the capability to download a document, make edits to that document, then upload the changes to the document within a shared workspace without producing another file; that is, the edits are occurring on one document only and the uploading replaces the document that is currently on the site and the document is always shared. Your site doesn't seem to have this capability and every time I upload the changes to a document I simply produce another file which is inefficient and can be confusing to the people sharing the document.  Will you please add this function?  Your competit More... |

Adobe, as most people know, already has an update manager, which can install updates for all its programs. However, I feel that Adobe should create the option to have Adobe Update Manager downloaded at the same time as Flash Player, Reader, Shockwave, AIR, etc. A bundle like this would make it much easier to download the Adobe programs that everyone already loves to use.  In addition, Adobe Update Manager which, as stated earlier would be downloaded in the bundle, would be able to automatically connect to Adobe's website, at a scheduled time, in order to check for updates, and download and install these updates.  My idea is much like Java's (by Sun Microsystems) update manager. |

I would like it if people could access files that I put on acrobat.com without having to send them a link in an email. This is assuming that a file structure will be created in the future. People could then see all the files that I have created for them and download the ones they need. This could be done by creating a folder and granting access to certain email addresses. You could even take it a step further and create a login and password for each folder that you wanted to grant access to.  Example: I am a designer and I create 2 logos for 5 companies. I would create 5 "accessible folders", one for each company. Customer 1 would log on to the personal web address that I provide them such as "acrobat.com/angryape/customer1" . A login screen would pop up and after they login, they can see the 2 files that I uploaded for them to view. They can look at them on screen or download them. I would create folders, passwords and a web address for each customer.  Microsoft does something simila More... |

I am a community manager and I want to use Share (and the Embed feature) as the single source repository for all of my PDF documents that I make available to the community. However, to do this, I need to have account level reporting on my documents to track how often documents are being viewed (historically, past 6 months, past month, past week, custom date range) and also most downloaded as a sorted list. |
