I would love the ability to view and annotate uploaded images, PDFs, even photoshop or swf files in ConnectNow. Currently the only way to annotate a document is by sharing screens and, although great, the resolution quality is not fantastic. Furthermore, if you are not willing to share your screen, annotating a design is not possible.

The way I envision this working is you upload your file (be it JPEG, PNG, PDF, SWF etc.) and in the files pod you click an "Annotate" button. The file then gets loaded into either the whiteboard pod or its own new pod and the annotation tools appear. This will allow designers to collaborate very closely with their clients on specific design changes (and at a good resolution).

ConnectNow/ Video Pod:

CURRENTLY:

There is no way to watch a video movie clip well in ConnectNow, though I can't count how many disasters of "watch this" I've seen in screen sharing, the video and audio are unwatchable... though somebody always tries :)

SUGGEST:

A Video Pod! Upload the clip, it buffers the video/audio for the viewer... HOOOOOOORAAAY!!!!!

It would be great if we could upload pictures/photos to the Whiteboard for collaborative work.

Linux distros are becoming more popular as there GUI become more versatile and even easier to use then Windows. Ubuntu seems to be one of the quickest growing system bases right now, so it would be a good place to start. ConnectNow is a very useful tool and would help experienced Ubuntu users further help less technical and new users with hard issues for their systems. Instead of having to type long explanations and shell scripts into a forum a mentor could simply send a personal message to the questioner with their meeting room URL and do it for them (while the asker observes the resolution). This would probably be used far more than even your Windows solution would. Help the movement. Go Ubuntu!!! (Or any other flavor Linux. Windows belongs on corporate workstations not PCs, and free solutions like ConnectNow could greatly help this movement!)

Probability is you've came from a Linux forum that I've posted this too, so you don't need to read the rest, you just need to hit the littl

ConnectNow: //CODE CHAT

CURRENTLY:

CHAT Pod has a very basic messenger functionality.

SUGGEST:

Adding the ability to toggle from regular CHAT to "CODE CHAT", where you could toggle the dropdown menu, select the type of "CODE" you want to talk about. (ex. Actionscript 3) and the CODE CHAT pod can format the color and other basic functionality of the CODE view you are used to seeing in (ex. Flex Builder).
