As of this writing, the iPad still doesn't allow for editing Google Docs and Pages is a so-so tool on that platform. I suggest that Adobe seize the day, and even though it may seem couterintuitive, make an HTML5 version of Acrobat.com (Buzzword at least) that can be used on the iPad either as a standalone app, or from within Safari. I know the Flash wars are at a fevered pitch, but doing this quickly would give Adobe great press as a leader in next-gen word processing. |

Tags: free I just realised that i only have 2 month of free usage for this service! It might look really good - but I am not going to pay 14$ a month for something that I can get for free. If you want to make this Buzzword a succes - make it free! |

Buzzword is very cool, but it would seriously increase the awesome factor if it were easier for me to distribute and deploy my docs. Here is what I would like to be able to do"  1) In addition to a sharing link, let me copy sharing embed code (much like embedding a YouTube video)  2) When the embded code is placed on an HTML page, it shows an up to the minute view of that document. So when I change the document in Buzzword, all embedded copies are automatically updated to show that latest version as well.  3) The document viewer should be a simple, but well-featured tool like Flashpaper used to be (zoom in/out, search the document text, jump between pages rapidly, etc.) It should also allow the viewer to copy the embed code themselves and place the document on their own page.  4) Let me choose in the history panel (or in a similar manner) which version of the document is being pushed out to these viewers*. That lets me and other team members edit and mess around with a d More... |

My company can't use Buzzword for a large percentage of documents because it doesn't support having our logo in the header. This seems like a pretty simple and obvious request, since most letters, proposals, etc. generally have company logos somewhere in the header.  Please fix this ASAP! |

I like that reviewers and co-authors can see comments, but I'd also like the ability to have these not be displayed to readers. For me, "Readers" are customers and end users, whereas co-authors are other employees of my company. We might need to make comments and discuss a document in progress without that conversation visible to end users, although the end users are welcome to see the most recent version of the text itself.  This would be as easy as adding a check box to the sharing panel: "Hide comments from Readers?" |
