As of this writing, the iPad still doesn't allow for editing Google Docs and Pages is a so-so tool on that platform. I suggest that Adobe seize the day, and even though it may seem couterintuitive, make an HTML5 version of Acrobat.com (Buzzword at least) that can be used on the iPad either as a standalone app, or from within Safari. I know the Flash wars are at a fevered pitch, but doing this quickly would give Adobe great press as a leader in next-gen word processing. |

It would be nice if the same basic editing capabilities of Acrobat reader (text edit, commenting etc.) were available on the screen. This would eliminate a couple of steps necessary when trying to make comments. Now you have to downloading it, make comments and re-upload the pdf.  It would also be nice if you got email notifications when changes were made. I have no way of knowing if anyone has reviewed by document unless i constantly check the website. |

Adobe has great products that at times lack or have subpar features. Collaboration with market leaders will ensure these features are at the forefront of technology. By using APIs, Adobe can integrate the features while letting the market leaders worry about improvments to the features.  For Example:  SKYPE: Use them to incorporate calling services into Adobe Connect. GOOGLE: Use them to incorporate file sharing, synchronization, mail and calendar.   |

PDF service would provide users with the ability to embed a special "live" feature into their documents that enables the document to reach back to the Acrobat.com server to ensure that it is the most current version of the document. If the document has been updated the user will be prompted to download the new version of the content ensuring the content is up to date. Â Social Commenting and Markup |
