keyword, tags, labels, full-text indexing, semantic indexing are all technologies which could help me to easily organize all my PDFs  The key problem with these technologies is the fact that nobody really has the discipline to label (or tag or give keywords). A good semantic search engine with good common dictionaries could greatly increase the findability of my files.  For those of us who have the discipline to tag or label the files virtual folders in which certain combination of tags or labels are used as filters are certainly the way to go.  "Physical" folders with files residing only in one place are certainly not the way to go into the future. |

Tags: files oganize subfolders tags Hello,  I'm very satisfied with acorbat.com service. The Adobe team really did a good job! Altought, there are some features that would not only simplify the way we organize our files, but make easier to find we are looking for, in a large amount of files.  1st. The possibility of includind subfolders (it's a basic but important feature that was forgotten)  2nd. A multi-tag search. If we have the possibility of including two or more tags for a single file, why can't we use this, in favor of us, to find them? I explain: Sometimes we don't know exactely what we're looking for, but we know that`s something that was studied at "university", in "2010" and about "Laws" (for example), so that it would be finded imediately combining these tags.  For time it's all!  Best Regards, Hugo Marques |

Here is a challenge to Adobe staff. You offer acrobat.com as a product for businesses to use. Can you use it for yourselves?  I'll bet not. While it is the heart of what will likely (eventually) be a great product with a great UI, it is not ready for serious users. One simple example. How can anyone be expected to store their files on My Files without folders (and tags). While tags may come sooner rather than later, no folders is a glaring hole in the product.  I would recommend that you challege yourselves--if you cant use the products as employees of Adobe, then neither can we.  Rise to the challenge!  Regards

When creating a new post and adding keywords, could those keywords be copied to the "tags" section of the post? I'm currently pasting the tags in from my keywords section after each post. |
