Tags: blackberry buzzword doc files iphone mobile my pdf smartphone We've a long way to go before we have "true mobile" access (for iPhones, Blackberrys, etc). In the meantime, could we setup a server that acts as an interface between internet-enabled mobile devices and our documents stored on Adobe servers?
For example, mobile.acrobat.com could ask for an Arobat username and password and then provide access to download documents as PDFs (for minimum load otherwise DOCs would also be nice). This would work because most smartphones handle PDFs quite happily. I imagine it could be implemented faster than full-fledged read/write access and give us access to our valuable data on the move :) |

Tags: acrobat.com favorite files I use the acrobat.com storage service almost all the time. I always have to look for some specific files that I use a lot (manuals, presentations, etc). Â IDEA: Why don't you add a sorting button or a little box somewhere, that shows the most accessed or "favorite" files? |

Tags: connectnow files myfiles save upload ConnectNow: Files Pod + MyFiles  CURRENTLY: - "Upload a File" button gives you access to upload your computer files. (great feature!) - "Save a File" button gives you the ability to save files to your computer. (great feature!)   SUGGEST: - "Upload/Save a file from MyFiles!" (great additional feature!!!!!)  Having this extra button would give a major improvement to File Sharing/Accessibility/Storage within the Acrobat.com Cloud. More... |

When many people share a bunch of files with me, my "My Files" view just becomes a long list of files without context. I propose that a new way of sorting be introduced, sorting by event or reason. Â When you share files with people, you would specify the reason, say "Project A". When those people look at their "My Files" view sorted in the "Event/Reason" method, they would see all files related to "Project A" under a "Project A" heading. Subsequent file shares with the same reason, e.g. "Project A", would therefore end-up under the proper heading. Â In this way, you would have more information about the context under which the files were shared with you rather than staring at a meaningless list of files. |

Tags: connectnow files multiple pod Currently uploading is one file at a time. Multi-tasking is impossible when feeding uploads works like quarters into a pop machine ....Plink .....Plink ....Plink .....Plink :)  I have selected multiple files, dragged and dropped them on the FILES Pod... now take them! :P |

Tags: connectnow files folders groups organize I would you like to organize my uploaded files by themes, for example. Now, I have all my files in only "desktop". The organization could be with folders or groups. For example: "Network Classes Files", "Java Development Tutorials Files", etc. |

I would love the ability to view and annotate uploaded images, PDFs, even photoshop or swf files in ConnectNow. Currently the only way to annotate a document is by sharing screens and, although great, the resolution quality is not fantastic. Furthermore, if you are not willing to share your screen, annotating a design is not possible. Â The way I envision this working is you upload your file (be it JPEG, PNG, PDF, SWF etc.) and in the files pod you click an "Annotate" button. The file then gets loaded into either the whiteboard pod or its own new pod and the annotation tools appear. This will allow designers to collaborate very closely with their clients on specific design changes (and at a good resolution). |
