Buzzword absolutely needs a styles capability. We need heading levels, 1,2,3 etc. and styles in order to create things like proposals and reports in an easier way. Buzzword has such potential as a business app, if it just makes a bit more progress.

When writing novels, it would be helpful to have chapters treated as documents and controlled by a master document. When doing things like search and replace within the master document, the changes would be made across all the subordinate documents.

I would like to have a set of templates that I can use for setting up a document, envelopes, newsletters, etc. These would be for both personal and business applications.

I would like to be able to create a document style, name it, save it, recall it and apply it to a document. This would be for documents and paragraphs at a mimimum.

We need styles for paragraphs, characters, tables, and all other elements. Nobody can create document while fomatting each paragraph separately.

We also need that styles be dynamic (macros are not good) i.e. changing a style should automatically change all corresponding elments.

By the way, all word processing applications have this.
