In addition to collaborating on projects, this would also be an amazing tool to use for proofing design work. Most deign that are being sent to printers are converted to PDF documents and most proofing services work better if the image you upload is a PDF. So why not add proofing and approval tools into this service. It would work great if we can make a design, convert it to a PDF, then have our client mark it up with the corrections they want made and kicked back to us to update. Additionally, we could even use the web conferencing service to show our clients changes in real time.

Giving designers the tools to use this service for online proofing should be very beneficial to Adobe.

Hi,

If you make whiteboard possible on full screen (Same as screen sharing) and enable picture upload (should be available from file manager) then graphic designers (like me) would be able to comment live graphic changes to layouts/pictures very fast. Without video.

Simply add possibility to comment static images. Snapshots from screen sharing are too slow. This could be easy to implement and quick working tool for commenting static images.

All the best!

Michael

PS> Or add something like picture comment in Buzzword - Quick on screen annotations, drawing, higlighting but on pictures. With poining place whaat was commented. Now in Buzzword this is very "static" and not "graphic frienfly". I hope you're getting my drift...

If you start offering a service like ProofHQ.com that works directly with acrobat I would be extremely happy.

Designers point of view:

Create PDF. Open in Acrobat. Tell it to post to Acrobat.com and email a list of recipients to review the pdf by x date. As the owner of that PDF I can see who has reviewed, made changes and/or approved. Or an email is sent to me when all recipients have reviewed. From login you can see a list of documents you have sent out for review.

From the reviewers point of view:

They receive the email, log in to acrobat.com and there's a list of all the documents they have received to review and their review due dates. Once they've selected a file to review they can do comments and mark ups, with those comments tagged as being from that specific user. If they don't review by the date specified they receive a reminder email.

If you really wanna be schnazzy have the option to place an icon in the menu bar that gives an at a glance look at the number of pdfs sent
