How about a special system of notification through Google Gadgets for Gmail? A setting in Google Labs allows users to add a gadget by URL. If we could have a Buzzword gadget, it could give us popup reminders when we have updates to our documents.  This approach would prevent a barrage of emails when multiple changes are done to multiple documents.  Links: http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/index.html  Similar ideas:     More... |

It would be great to have a widget for the Mac dashboard and and an equivalent gadget for the Windows sidebar that allowed quick information feeds from the acrobat.com service. As widgets/gadgets are always connected to the internet they could update content on the fly. Things such as document changes, uploaded files or even live chat from ConnectNow could be incorporated into these widgets. Â It would be cool to have something that gave the user live information feeds without having to run the air or browser applications. |

I'd love to see a feature where I can open documents emailed to me directly in Buzzword. Imagine getting a word document in your gmail, and using a google gadget to send it straight to Buzzword, making changes and saving the document in your Buzzword account.
We could try to use the APIs here: http://code.google.com/intl/en/apis/gadgets/faq.html#WhatAreGadgets or --->Workaround<----- Users could have a Buzzword email account so that emails with attachments can be forwarded to it. The email account would be used ONLY for incoming messages (thus eliminating the possibility of spamming from a Buzzword account). |
