All my major textbooks in University now  comes in PDF. Studying online with the PDF documents has been extremely difficult especially with book with over 200 pages. I cant just contain it....its been so daunting trying to look for previous statement that was read on separate pages. I was thought it wise for Acrobat if it would enable such function, enabling user to colour mark texts on the document for easy referencing. Its  eally of no use printing out papers at this age. I think would be much easier to INSERT or CREATE "simple"  tabs dividers from acrobat rather than to insert them from a word document.

Example:

• Index
• A, B, C,
• 1, 2, 3,
• etc.

IS there a french pdf read-outloud?

Where is it ?

There should be a French, and other language, option for read out loud...

For example, I have an English Version Windows pc.

I CAN 'read outloud' an English  pdf file...

But I cannot 'read outloud' a FRENCH pdf.

How do do this with an Adobe product?

My idea is to make this available if it is not now....Adobe tech support could not help with this..

es wäre gut, wenn man in den pdf-Dateien verschiedene Seiten löschen kann. Dann muß man nicht nochmal alles neu machen(scannen) um die Datei zu minimieren.

Je voudrais pouvoir sélectionner une partie de longs documents que je reçois en PDF et pouvoir les copier dans d'autres applications telles que word, excel, ppt, etc...  par exemple, prendre une partie d'un tableau et le copier dans excel ou des pages de certains documents très longs (+ de 50 pages) et les copier dans word pour pouvoir y ajouter des dates ou des détails et les enregistrer dans mes dossiers.

Autre sujet : je n'ai pas compris en quoi consiste buzzword. Qui peut me l'expliquer et m'indiquer comment l'obtenir ?

I am creating a document that will be finished using Acrobat 9 Pro.  The document will allow users to write their name in a single text field once, then everywhere else in the document the name will appear identically.  Acrobat does this already, but I would like to suggest adding a "LOCK & UNLOCK FIELD" feature in order to protect the field from further changes.

To the end-user this would be "LOCKABLE" and "UNLOCKABLE" in Adober Reader.  I attached a simple example.  The designer will be able to choose where the lock goes.

This would enable text and numbers to be locked down in Adobe Reader, when extended rights are applied.

Please see my example and let me know what you think.
