Reading a PDF file on the Blackberry is a terrible experience.  There are some readers out there but honestly, nobody has really nailed it.  Adobe should be able to provide a solution better than anyone else when it comes to readers for PDF files.  It should be distributed through App World.

This is an offshoot of the idea by bnerz: https://na5.brightidea.com/ct/ct_a_view_idea.bix?c=8FBBEA8F-D8E6-4E34-A7C1-7C74FB3B4EFA&idea_id=EF036912-0D95-4E2D-BB67-18D88011D131

For sensitive documents on Buzzword, it would be nice if we could set an expiration date for permissions. E.g. college project documents from one semester may not be needed in future semesters. Weekly / monthly / custom permissions would be excellent. The document would be shared with time limitations.

Greetings.

I uploaded an Arabic presentation to Acrobat.com in order to share it with my colleagues.

But the problem is that the Arabic fonts in my presentation was not uploaded successfully and the slides were empty from Arabic letters.

Is there anyway to add Arabic editing facilities to Acrobat.com ?

Thansks for your support.

Repect Sir/Mam

I am a Mechanical Engineer, i always have to read epaper pdf in pdf readers, on internet some epaper pdf files are not available complete, so i have to dowload each epaper seperatatly and use pdf readers to read them. because pdf mergers are available as trail version on net so i use 'Foxit reader' to read them, as it provides tab system so that i can easily read them without merging the different pages. i left using acrobat reader 2mnths ago because of no 'Tab' system in it and start using Foxit reader, SO PLS PROVIDE A 'TAB' SYSTEM IN ACROBAT READER, COZ I LOVE ACROBAT READER. I am absolutely sure that this feature will increase the acrobat users.

thanx to read..

I am presently having to use one of Adobe's competitor's software because of inadequate output options for the Adobe pdf print driver.

I have several applications I run unattended that can generate multiple print jobs (i.e. hundreds) over night while I'm not there.  With the Adobe PDF printer, this cannot be accomplished unattended, you must be there to give each new pdf file a name or default to the previous file being overwritten.  Neither of these works for me.

This other pdf print driver I use can recognize that a file with the default file name exists and then by way of the printing preferences, either sequentially number the pdf output files or append each in succession as it is created to either the front or the back of the existing pdf.

Right now, the pdf printer is set up for user interaction not unattended operation.

I have attached a copy of some screen dumps of the pdf printer that I am having to resort to using.

The printing preferences for the Adobe PD

I am considering self publishing some books.  I would like to send free samples to many people for comments and feedback before publication.  I would prefer to send them pfd files that expire in 30 days.  Once expired I would prefer that they not be able to use tricks like resetting the system clock back to regain access.  Why don't you offer a way to make pdf's expire based on any of several methods:  1) XX days from creation,  2) fixed date: xx/yy/zzzz, and 3) number of times opened.

To accompany this feature, it would be ideal if the pdf file could be made so that it could not be printed using any Acrobat program.

To accomplish this you would likely need a new version of Acrobat Reader and/or a service where pdf files logged into your Acrobat.com web site to determine whether they were still valid or had expired.  Allowing authors to use Acrobat.com to control their expiration dates would be an interested added feature that you could sell.

To enable narrators (or anyone who wants to be a narrator) to read out loud from blogs, articles or any published content (print or digital), record and publish their readings in organized fashion making the recording available to anyone, anywhere at anytime. This is like a "mechanical turk" for narrators.
