Tags: blackberry Reading a PDF file on the Blackberry is a terrible experience. There are some readers out there but honestly, nobody has really nailed it. Adobe should be able to provide a solution better than anyone else when it comes to readers for PDF files. It should be distributed through App World. |

Tags: acrobat dates expiration pdf One of the biggest problems with the current implementation of the Internet is that information is not adequately dated for the purposes of search and understanding the relevance of information being viewed. For instance, an education page that discusses the Pythagorean theorem has no expiration date; the information is good foerver. However, a page that describes prices must have an effective date and an expiration date. Â PDFs should have effective date and expiration date fields in metadata. Moreover, when a user opens a PDF and the current system time is outside the effective date to expiration date range that the author has specified in Properties, the user should get an alert. Â Because many casual users are unfamiliar with Properties, and many PDFs are created through the print interface of a word-processing program, the interface for entering these two dates should be part of the Create/Save PDF process. Â The default effective date should be the current system date. The defa More... |

Tags: attachements outlook portfolio result search When searching a PDF Portfolio, that was generated from an Outlook E-Mail folder, the hit list will show hits in non-PDF documents such as Word or Excel, attached to a mail. Â It is totally annoying, that you can't open these documents directly, just like a PDF, but rather need to open the PDF of the mail, then search the attachment(s), to find the hit already listed! |

I see it something like the iPad but strictly for Bible applications. This device would have every translation/versions of the Bible, the user would pick and choose on a touch screen between his/her own desired themes, displays, settings, translations and much, much more, a Simple but Sleek user interface, maybe even down loadable for smart devices. |

Tags: codepad issuetracker scrapsheet First of all I would like to know whether acrobat.com is a secure website and how secure it is. If it has good security I think the one who had the idea with acrobat.com already deserves great respect, I love it. I think this tool should be used much more for Team collaboration. I really miss one thing, I love how Notepad++ handles my text. I use it alot to whipe formatting from a copied text, I miss this everywhere else. I think it would be such an advantage to have in conjunction to the Buzzword a Codepad or alike, that first of all doesn't show the pages seperately but rather as an infinite white text pane, where you can make the line numbers visible and that can handle code. Just as Notepad++, plus the benefit of being able to use the notes like in buzzword. This way I could use it as an issue tracker. That I can store all my daily notes and keep track and easily find back stuff. Â Well that's it eventhough I have much more to add. Gotta work a little now. More... |

Tags: autodelete design Often I send a pdf with a design idea to a client but get no come back. I want to make sure the prospective client can't take the design ideas to other people. By setting a time period to view with the password I can make sure this does not happen. |

I print a lot like many others. Many times in color, when sometimes I only need a few pages of an entire document in color, but I print the whole thing in color versus 2 separate print jobs and put it all together manually.  Need a way for Adobe to let you choose which pages in color and the remainder black/white (in a single print job), this may be a big money saver on ink. Not much different concept than when we choose which pages to print out of a larger document, but know the technology doesn’t jump out at us. |
