1) Adobe is essential to the future of collaboration
2) Acrobat is too expensive
3) Acrobat pricing is set at large quantum levels
4) Acrobat functionality should be offered in finer spectrum pricing levels...all "online/Live" of course
5) A poor attempt at it...
$20/yr Beginner
$40/yr Intermediate
$80/yr Advanced
$ X/yr Power User
6) Sales will skyrocket
7) More critically, the meme becomes embedded.
8) Enlivement progresses

Hello,

I work in an energy company in Brazil.
We need a lot of integration between our units.
Acrobat.com is a great solution, but works only in English and this makes the understandings of some officials. Thus causing some controversy and mistakes.

It would be very interesting if you Adobe.com make available the version in Portuguese, including the Brazilian date format (DD / MM / YYYY) rather than the U.S. format (MM / DD / YYYY).

Thank you very much for your attention and I look forward eagerly to be able to use the Acrobat.com in my native language.

I advocate Acrobat.com to all my clients as a way of storing, sharing and collaborating on content. Most are not experienced in IT so they struggle with some basics that us IT folks take for granted.

"Why do I have to send an email to let my colleague read the document"? is a common one.

So indeed, why not be able to give your colleagues read-only access to some or all of your files if you want their views? Well, because they might want to change the content and they do that in their own space. So why not use the Acrobat Reader approach and let them put sticky comments on it for you to edit, delete or accept as you see fit without creating multiple temporary documents in other file systems?

I can understand that I might have multiple clients files in my file space and I don't want one colleague or client to see stuff that's not for them, so that takes us into the ACL space, which might imply using a sledgehammer where one isn't needed. Perhaps a simpler, two-level authentica

To enable narrators (or anyone who wants to be a narrator) to read out loud from blogs, articles or any published content (print or digital), record and publish their readings in organized fashion making the recording available to anyone, anywhere at anytime. This is like a "mechanical turk" for narrators.

I feel that MS Office is still stuck in the 1900's, it hasent changed. What I feel is that the next generation of office or professional office software will come from college note making software. What i was thinking was that a software in which i have split screens upper screen having university slides lower screen having the explanation of the slide ( a self search from a ebook or a self search screen from a list of sources about the material on the slide like ebooks, wikipidea, intuite sources), a third screen in which all those in class can collaboratively add notes, comments, flow charts, graphs, pictures (using both keyboard, mouse to select path of graphics, and electronic pens for drawing sketches, and writing notes). Then to print the sum total in a coherent form.
